If you have a non-plant touching ancillary cannabis business or service please feel free to apply. We ask that your business solve a problem and or address a need while simultaneously reinvesting or offering support to adversely affected communities from the War On Drugs or have a member from the re-entry community on their executive leadership team.. Each entry must have a business plan or overview, media kit, and financial projection plan. If you meet these simple criteria please take a few moments to complete the registration form below and attach a brief one-page overview of your business. Tell us what you do, how you do it, whom you do it with, along with your website and or social media handles for all platforms. We will narrow down submissions to final applicants on March 20th, 2020, in which case we will request additional information to help us choose our final contestants, so act fast!
The purpose of the Ignite competition is to first and foremost create tangible resources and opportunities for minorities and underserved groups interested in being apart of Georgia’s emerging Cannabis industry. It is our hope that through this experience we can help begin providing consistent foundational support for existing and future businesses seeking aide through our Cannabis incubator program. It is our hope that the Ignite Pitch competition will foster a supportive environment for founders to build the knowledge, skills, and resources required to develop the equitable, robust Cannabis industry we all deserve and anticipate. We have built our community to be welcoming and engaging, and urge everyone from staff members to event-goers – to be deliberate in building an environment where the security and respect of others are validated and appreciated.
